Ana Delia Benito
Of Spanish nationality, since she was very young, her life has been focused on music, sports and dance. Ana Delia began practicing classical ballet and flamenco when she was only four years old. Later on, she also took up disciplines such as gymnastics, aerobics, fitness and rowing, in which she participated in competitions and won many trophies. In 1999 she discovered Pilates, when she started taking classes with one of the best trainers in Spain: Fernando Gil (teacher at Polstart). In 2002, she became certified in Pilates Mat at FEDA, an accredited federation for teachers in the areas of sport. It was there where she discovered that her passion was precisely this discipline, as well as being able to help people to know their body more intelligently, to feel more present in order to avoid all kinds of injuries and to give more years to life. Ana Delia has several certifications in disciplines such as: aerobics, step, spinning, personal training and physical education. She is a Master trainer for Balaned Body in Pilates, Principles of Movement and 3D Anatomy. She is also certified in Gyrotonic, as well as Yoga Expansion (200 hrs) and is co-creator of the KINAM Methodology. She has worked in New York studios such as Salt Anthonys and Movement Afoot, where she has specialized in body rehabilitation. What Ana Delia feels deeply passionate about is helping people to be more conscious of their body, mind and spirit, through different techniques, always with the aim of training posture and finding balance.
