Alejandra Cobo
Since she was very young, Alejandra has been involved in the world of dance, since she began her practice in classical dance at the age of three. With a wide trajectory in this field, she was the winner of the Julie Sedova International Dance Competition in Nice, France. She was one of the dancer of the Young Guard of the National Ballet of Cuba, of the Kassel Opera Ballet. She participated as prima ballerina of the Cleveland San Jose Ballet; and became a guest prima ballerina with the companies: Atlanta Ballet, Ballet de las Americas of Venezuela, Dancing Wheels and with the Choreographic Workshop of the UNAM, of Gloria Contreras. Alejandra has a degree in Human Communication and Special Education, with a specialization in Logotherapy and Existential Analysis from the Association of Existential Analysis in Mexico. She is also a psychotherapist and contributes as facilitator in several workshops on Human Development and Crisis Intervention. She is co-author of the book How to bring out the best in every child. She has contributed with several articles to the online magazine Entre Mamás. She is also co-creator of the KINAM Methodology. Among her many facets, Alejandra works as a Health Coach and Fitness Coach, teacher of ballet, Healing Pilates, Bar and conditioning for dancers at “The House of Movement”, in Miami, Florida. Her goal is to provide people with tools in the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual areas, through KINAM and different movement methodologies, as well as psychotherapeutic currents, to find balance, growth and holistic development.
